I’ve come to realize I am a walking contradiction when it comes to spooky things. I love Halloween, I love nostalgia, but I hate clowns, and dolls. How is it that I am excited for the new It?! This is quite brilliant for any historical novel nerds. St. Vincent is set to direct a retelling of The Picture of Dorian Gray with a female lead. In the age of social media and vanity, this story is appropriate. Can’t wait to see what comes of it. See more details here.

2 I Needed Color
This isn’t particularly nerdy, but if you’re a comedy nerd and grew up watching Jim Carrey, then you’ll appreciate this. If you’re sick of all the negativity in the world right now, then you may find this inspiring. It’s important to find ways to escape from the ugliness, and Jim beautifully expresses himself with amazing paintings.
