Top Nerdy 10: News Bites 03.17.16

Nerds, this week has been insanely packed with news! I had 32 news bites to sort through, which is just as tough as going through a slow news week. Now if it had been 42, I may have tried to make a connection with the meaning of life, but… Well, here we go, your 10 nerdy news bites!

Let’s begin with a curious tale… A most peculiar tale…

I honestly could not have pictured a better director to bring this life than Tim Burton, nor a better Miss Peregrine in my bad ass, lady crush Eva Green. Looking forward to seeing this in September.

It wasn’t long ago when we got word our fellow Flash fanboy, Kevin Smith was going to be directing episode 21 for the awesome CW show! Seems Thor and X-Men First Class screenwriter, Zack Stentz will be teaming up with Kevin!

Speaking of epic DC TV, check out this little 10 sec teaser of the anticipated event taking place March 28th.

Series premiere for AMC’s Preacher was announced and it will be after Walking Dead May 22nd.

Disney announced that Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford will be returning for Indiana Jones 5 (slated for a July 19, 2019 release). My initial reaction, to be honest, was ‘but why?’ Don’t get me wrong, I love Indy, but that last one… Any way, I’ll be cautiously optimistic. *whispers* Just please, no aliens. See more here.

Also, Disney has a busy slate 2019. Wonder if this will impact other projects.
