We wrap Galentine’s Week (yes your girlfriends deserve a week of fabulous)! We here at NC fully celebrate the bond and love between girlfriends. One of our favorite past times with my best girls is a movie night in. We’re here to pay homage to your sister from another mister; that special lady or ladies that always has your back! We wanted to share our favorite gal pal flicks you can watch any time you need a feel good moment and because this list was too epic for just ten, we had to make this TNT our Top Nerdy Thirteen!
An updated retelling of Emma, and an obsession in our school girl days. Seriously, I watched Clueless practically every weekend! Obsessed! Also, how you doing, Paul Rudd?
The Sweetest Thing
This is surprisingly not that well known, which is super surprising! If you haven’t watched, you have to catch Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate running around having pervy misadventures.
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
There is nothing more powerhouse than watching Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell walk into the room! #SquadGoals
Romy & Michelle’s High School Reunion
When the ladies make their triumphant entrance in those fabulous outfits, you can’t help but cheer!
Girlfriends and pizza… Do you really need more out of life?
Gracie and Cheryl’s unlikely friendship is just incredibly adorable. Also, world peace.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
A story of sisterhood… and traveling… and pants. I need to get me a pair of those magical pants.
Proof that women can be as raunchy as the dudes and still love each other for it.
Bend It Like Beckham
Football and friendship and a baby Kiera Knightley.
A League of Their Own
Another team of kickass ladies. Batter up!!!
Now and Then
Probably the first girlfriend movie from my youth. This coming of age story was everything.
Stop! Right now! Okay, so the movie is over the top cheesy, but you cannot deny girl power and those iconic ’90’s anthems!
Because who doesn’t love the Bellas? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I could not leave out this movie! A story of two girls who become best friends into adulthood and the challenges they face along the way. They’ve tried remaking this movie but let’s not speak of that…
So which movie(s) are you and your girlfriend(s) going to watch for Galentine’s Day? Don’t forget to make some of the yummy treats from Jen’s Nerdie Foodie post! Be sure to share this post and tag your girlfriends!
