Hello, Nerdlings! Welcome back to Nerdy Kidz Corner! Finishing out NC’s collab week, Aylah and I wanted to celebrate our love of Unicorns and Rainbows by trying out a couple of the recipes shown in Jenine’s Rainbows and Unicorns edition of Nerdie Foodie! Check it out!
Who Doesn’t Love Unicorns and Rainbows?
Aylah and I both love rainbows and unicorns so we were super excited to make Rosanna Pansino’s Unicorn Poop Cookies as seen on Nerdy Nummies, and My Cupcake Addiction’s Rainbow Milkshake! These were super fun and easy to make, and they tasted great! Check out our nerdy Unicorns and Rainbows baking session below!
The Finished Products
So while Aylah may not enjoy the smell of almond extract (LOL!) she did enjoy the finished product. I MAY have put them back in the oven for just a little too long, or else putting them back in at 400* was a little much. My total baking time ended up being about 20 minutes but I’ve suggested no more than 15 in the video.
The milkshake was super easy to make. I wish I had not let the ice cream sit out quite so long though. Just remember the key to preventing the colors from simply mixing together is to hold the spoon near the wall of the glass and let the shake drizzle down the inside of the glass.
Want More?
Would you like us to try baking some more nerdy goodies? Send us suggestions for kid-friendly, nerdy recipes and maybe we will give ’em a whirl! How many unicorns in all did you spot in the video? (Hint: not all of the unicorns pictured are toys!) We really enjoyed doing this collab with Jen and if you haven’t checked it out already head on over to Nerdie Foodie to check out more on Unicorns and Rainbows!
Stay Nerdy, my friends!
