Today is a special day. Welcome to the 100th post of Nerdie Foodie! 100 posts of fabulous and creative recipes that inspire and fuel our nerd fandoms. There were a lot of recipes featured on Nerdie Foodie over the past 2 years. Here are just a few of our favourite recipes that we would one day love to try to recreate ourselves here at NC.

First, I want to say congrats to Jen for reaching 100 Foodies!!! She’s dedicated and knows her stuff being an avid baker herself. As much as I love my pastries, I have to say one of my favorite recipes is the boozy butterbeer Delish. This was part of Jen’s Hot Chocolate & Happy Hour post December 23, 2016.
Nothing like an adult twist for a Harry Potter nerd. I have yet to try it myself, but I plan to do so!

Way to go, Jen! 100 Foodies! That’s a lot of food! It’s really hard to narrow down my favorite to just one recipe but I do remember my favorite Nerdie Foodie post was centered around Disney Princesses! I’ve always wanted to try and make Rapunzel’s hazelnut soup. Of course I am a fan of the booze posts as well. So many drinks I’d love to try and make such as the Patronus Charm! Here’s to another 100 posts about all the nerdy eats and drinks we would love to try!

As NC’s Nerdie Foodie, I have had the privilege of indulging in all the recipes out there while putting together each week’s post. All of the recipes that I have featured in Nerdie Foodie have been recipes that I have wanted to try one day. The recipes that stand out for me the most are the Harry Potter recipes. I would love to make the Sorting Hat cupcakes and Butterbeer Ice Cream, both from the 20 Years of Harry Potter post (here).
I am also a huge fan of pie. So, I would love to try my hand at all the Waitress pies! For the movie post, check out the pie recipes here. For the musical post, look for the recipes here!

And finally, I love Dole Whip – thank you Disneyland. I want to try the Dole Whip smoothie recipe that was featured in the Nerdie Foodie New Year, New You Smoothies post (here)!

There are so many recipes out there and I know there are so many more recipes and food artists out there whom we have yet to discover. Here’s to the next 100 posts and more!
‘Til next time,
