‘Tis the season for summer love and while we bask in the glorious sunshine, this creates the perfect setting for our collaborative theme week on our blog: nerdy weddings. For those couples who want to splurge on the perfect confectionery centerpiece for their big day, here is just a sampling of some fabulous, nerd-inspired wedding cakes.

A bakery based in Hampton, GA, this shop is by appointment only. They do custom cakes and cake testings for complete customization. Check them out here to book your appointment! Yes, they do wedding cakes for all you HP nerds too. With all these Golden Snitches, it would be hard to not win the House Cup!
Dream Day Cakes
If you are ever in Gainesville, FL, check out Dream Day Cakes bakery/cakery. They make everything from cakes to cupcakes, and even cookies, croissants, and macarons! Check them out here! You know what they say about relationships, it’s all about compromise and this custom cake embodies just that. Batman approved!
Sweet Frostings. Blissful Bakeshop
Found in Spokane, WA, this bakeshop features cupcakes, cakes, and cookies for all special occasions and those who just want to stop by on a whim for a sweet treat! Check them out here for more confectionery yumminess. Check out this cool cake full of ruffles that has a completely Hermione a la Yule Ball feel to it below!

Cakes Cove
Finally, I have to give a shoutout to a fellow Canadian bakery. Based in Toronto, ON, Cakes Cove is the nerdy bakery that was funded by fans on Kickstarter. All of their baked goodies are nerd inspired by all genres. Even I will have to go pay them a visit and check them out one of these days! Catch them here! This is just a sample of what this bakery is capable of.

That’s my wedding cake from Divine Treats! Not only was it gorgeous, it was also extremely delicious! It still tasted amazing when we thawed the top a year later on our anniversary! She also made a delicious Star Trek themed Verona cake for my husband! We love Divine Treats!
