This is it Foodies! Today is the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 3! Been dying for y’all to watch it! As some of you might know, Rach and I got the chance to see an advanced screening of Kung Fu Panda 3 thanks to our friend Kevin (@djkastle) and Vancouver Television (@TVVancouver) a couple weeks ago.
Check out our review here! So in honour of the movie’s official release, let’s all have a panda of a time and have some carbs! Let’s go!
Bento Box
Ellena Guan (from Hungry Go Where) shows us how to make a Kung Fu Panda bento box! Check out how to make this super cute creation here!
Bread
Panda bread. Who knew that was even a thing? I certainly didn’t until I came across Tammy’s (from Yoyomax12 – the diet free zone) recipe on YouTube! Check out the video below for the recipe and how-to!
Buns
For sweet red bean filled steamed buns, Heather Schmitt-Gonzalez (from All Roads Lead to the Kitchen – girlichef) shows us her recipe. Bonus, this post is her Food + Flix post where she collaborates with other foodies, so you get six extra recipe links! Check out her recipe post here!
Claire (from Out of the Ordinary Food) shares with us what she calls a steamed or baked dumpling. However, in my humble opinion, it looks more like a steamed or baked bun. So I’m sticking it under this category. Check out her flavourful non-traditional filling options and how-to recipe post here!
Dumplings
Maryam Saeed (from Pots, Pans N’ Skillful Hands) shows us how to make dumplings Tibetan style! Po would totally try these too if he had the chance. Check out her recipe and how-to post here!
Noodle Soups
Nothing says comfort food like a bowl of hot soup with noodles and filled to the brim with yumminess! Tiffany (from Don’t Waste the Crumbs) shows us how to make her version of Kung Fu Panda soup here!
Diana (from Fiction-Food Café) shows us how to make her Winter Festival Noodle Soup! Mr. Ping would be proud! Check out the recipe here!
Desserts
The moment we have all been waiting for – DESSERT!! There is always a second stomach for dessert! First up, Elise (from My Cupcake Addiction) shows us how to make panda cupcakes! Check out the video tutorial below!
Renee Conner (YouTube channel, Facebook page) shows us how to make chocolate covered Oreos that look like Po! And even better, her video is part of a collaboration playlist to help you get ready for your very own dessert table for a Kung Fu Panda 3 party! There are a total of six videos in this playlist. Check out Renee’s recipe below as well as the rest of the collaboration playlist!
And finally one of my favourite YouTubers out there, Ro (from Nerdy Nummies) shows us how to make mini Panda Oreo Cheesecakes! Check out the recipe below!
And there you have it! A Kung Fu Panda 3 party that is going to knock the socks off you and the kids! Po would be proud!
Till next time,
Stay nerdalicious!
