Nerdie Foodie: Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Greetings Nerdie Foodies! By the time this post reaches your device screens, I will be travelling to Houston, getting fat and eating all the food. But! This does not stop me from giving y’all a brand new Nerdie Foodie post! This week is all about THE vampire slayer (sorry Twilight fans) Buffy, as her birthday is just around the corner on January 19th. What a better way to celebrate than with some food and drink? Time to bring on the nostalgia of the 90s. Let’s go!

Spike’s Flowering Onion

We are starting off this party with a couple creations from Spike. Also known as a blooming onion, this party appetizer is one for the lovers of fried food. Diana (from Fiction Kitchen) shares with us her take on Spike’s dish and does it look beautifully delicious! Check out the recipe here!
