Nerdie Foodie: A Bloody Feast

Halloween is just around the corner Nerdie Foodies! This week, we are going to get you ready for the Halloween party! Ready to have a “bloody” good time? Let’s get crackin’! Don’t worry, these are all edible desserts.

Bloodshot Eyeballs

Who doesn’t love a good bloodshot eyeball to consume on Halloween? We have on the menu, eyeballs two ways! First up, Deb (from Yellow Saffron, the English version of Italian channel Giallo Zafferano) shows us how to make her version of a bloodshot eyeball with some help from Freddy Krueger. Check out her recipe below!

Elise from My Cupcake Addiction shows us how to make a Jello version of a bloodshot eyeball. Check it out in the video below!

Bloody Bones

Yolanda from How to Cake It shows us how to make a bloody leg cake, maggots, cuts and all with some help from Furious Pete! Check out their collab video below!

Of course, you can’t leave anything behind when you’re devouring legs bones, My Cupcake Addiction does a collab video with SORTEDFood. Their theme – The Walking Dead. So of course, that makes you think of blood and bone cheesecake dessert cups! Check out the video below!

Bloody Brains

The other half of the collaboration between Furious Pete and How to Cake it! How to Cake It makes a guest appearance on Furious Pete’s YouTube channel. They show us how to make brain cupcakes in a skull cupcake holder! Check out the video below!

Ro from Nerdy Nummies shows us how to make a slippery brain cake! It looks like the real deal and what a zombie would be willing to eat. Check out the video below!

Bleeding Hearts

If there are bloody brains, you can bet there will be bleeding hearts on the menu as well. My Cupcake Addiction shows us how to make murderous looking bleeding heart cake. Check out the video below!

And finally, the finishing touch, a heart worthy of the Queen, or a zombie. Granted, this video was made for Valentine’s day, but this will definitely work for your All Hallows Eve dessert table. A very realistic and “freshly harvested” human heart. Check out the video below!
