Nerdie Foodies, the time has come for us to find the Endgame, the Avengers Endgame that is. If you are like us and you’re so ready to watch it, yet at the same time not ready, we totally get it. So, to get us all a little bit less anxious (hopefully), let’s dig in to a few treats. Let’s go!
First things first, we all will need a drink to calm down the nerves. Normally, I usually stick the drinks at the end of a Nerdie Foodie post. However, because the movie is slated for just over 3 hrs, keep your drinking amounts small to help avoid those bathroom breaks! If you need to break these drink recipes in half, do it.
Thor Kid Drink
This fun mocktail will hopefully give kids of all ages the strength of Thor to get through all 3 hours of this epic continuation of Infinity War. Tatanisha and Derrick (from This Worthey Life) share with us their fun recipe here!
If you need something stronger than the strength of Thor, you might need this mocktail drink that embodies the Tesseract. Kimberly (from The Savvy Mama Lifestyle) shares with us her recipe for this delicious drink here!
Avengers Infinity Stones Drink
This one is for all the adults! This layered cocktail can be sipped before you go see the movie or after you’ve seen the aftermath that is Endgame. Sometimes you just need just a smidgen of something a little stronger to help you get through something as huge as Endgame. Thanks to Lindsey (from Redhead Baby Mama) you can check out her simple cocktail recipe below!
Infinity Gauntlet Pie
Let’s face it, it’s pretty much all about the gauntlet at this point in time, right? Monica (from Popcorner Reviews) also seems to think so as well. She shares with us her recipe on how to create this beautiful Infinity Gauntlet pie! This may take some artistic skills in carving out the gauntlet pieces into a pie crust, but trust me when I say, you will not be disappointed if you tried this recipe! Check it out here!
Infinity Stone Cupcakes
If you love cupcakes and hard candy, these next two recipes are for you! Create your very own Infinity Stones with these two recipes from Ro (Nerdy Nummies)! Check out how to create these colourful cupcakes in the video tutorial below and the gem hard candy recipe for the stones in the video below that! For the written recipes, you can check them out here and here!
These fantastically creative cookies will give you a piece of your very own Tesseract! This fairly simple cookie recipe is shared by Jana (from whisky + sunshine)! Whip up a batch of these babies for your Endgame pre- or post viewing party and you are good to go. Check out the recipe here!
Want to make something even simpler that requires no baking whatsoever? Geeks Who Eat shares with us this awesome recipe for chocolate bark that is inspired by Groot! Even better, you can bring these into the movie theatre with you if you make these a couple hours in advance. Check out the recipe here!
Note: This recipe was originally created for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2. They had no idea how apropos the photo is now in relation to Endgame.
And finally, you can’t have Endgame without the Avengers themselves. We will find out what happens to them beyond the amazing trailer that showed their new white with black trim suits (they kind of remind me of the Stormtrooper suits). Lisa (from My Thoughts Ideas and Ramblings) shares with us another super simple cookie recipe that you can also bring with you into the theatres if you wanted to. Check it out here!
At the end of the day, it is always going to be about the characters we have come to love and grown attached to thanks to Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, the Russo brothers, and the class of Marvel 2019 for what will be an incredible follow-up to Infinity War.
