It seems that a superhero’s job isn’t limited to just saving the world these days. There has been no shortage of superheroes taking the time out of their very busy schedules (stopping evil, you know the usual) to stop by various hospitals across the US, spreading good cheer to sick children.
Earlier this year, Chris Evans (aka Captain America) and Chris Pratt (aka StarLord) made a SuperBowl bet, where the losing Chris had to dress up in their respective costume to visit the hospital of the winning Chris’s choosing. And although Evans won, both actors donned their iconic alter egos and made visits to Christopher’s Haven and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Most recently the ladies of the new Ghostbusters reboot stopped by the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Centre. Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones were all smiles posing for photos with many of their littlest fans. And while they were there, the ladies also made sure that there weren’t any pesky ghosts loitering the halls, of course.

Superheroes visiting superheroes. There is something profoundly magical about people who take the time to put smiles on deserving faces. That’s a power I think everyone can possess.
