Technology doing good, that’s what Open Bionics is all about. The UK based company recently partnered up with Disney to release a special line of 3D prosthetic hands featuring iconic images from the Marvel, Disney and Star Wars universes.

According to their website, Open Bionics hopes that children who would typically go through “boring physical therapy” will now instead get the chance to “train to become heroes.”

3D printing has come a long way in make prostheses more affordable. And it’s not just companies who are using this technology. Meet ten-year-old super kid, Torrae.

Using corn-based printed plastic, these robotic hands or “superhero” hands give people who don’t have the use of their fingers the ability to grab objects just by bending their wrist. Watch her adorable interview with Ellen DeGeneres:
