What Jaime is Thankful For
I am thankful for being a nerd because being so has brought so many amazing experiences and friends into my life. I wish I could have you all over to sit around the table with us, because you are all family. You are all my special humans and I choose you to be nerdy and weird with! Together we have seen some amazing things and I hope we can share these experiences for many years to come. I am thankful to be a nerd, because it brought me together with all of you. <3
What Roni is Thankful For
I mirror what Jaime and Jen have said about our nerd family. There is nothing as special as finding your tribe, and we can’t help but be grateful for it. I have to say that 2017 has been a year for personal growth and change. I’ve made many decisions this year that have pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I have yet to see what the effects will be. As a creature fond of habit, I am in unfamiliar territory and can only be hopeful that everything will work out. I am grateful for the opportunities, I am grateful for the new experiences, I am grateful to be in a position to help those I love when I could, I am grateful for my day job, and I am grateful for those who support me. Also, a special thanks to my Curious ladies. You complete me. 😉
What Rachel is Thankful For
To the little things in life that I sometimes take for granted: curling up in a warm bed with a good book, enjoying a mug full of hot chocolate while listening to cast albums, laughing in the company of friends on a video call, cooking a meal together with my dad and brother. Like Roni, 2017 was a year of change and as a creature of habit, it took a while to settle into a new routine. But one of the things that has remained constant is my love for this blog and these gals and there aren’t adequate enough words to say thank you.
What Jen is Thankful For
First and foremost, I’m thankful to being a nerd. It has led me to meet and make lifelong friendships with many wonderdul people. Just look at how big the nerd family is! I’m thankful for my dance team because it allows me to be creative and expressive in a different way. I’m thankful for this blog and the three ladies who run this with me. I would have never thought in a million years that I would have so much fun writing and getting the opportunites to experience everything that we have achieved so far – and we have achieved many things so far. Love them to bits and pieces like family. And speaking of family, I’m thankful to my own family for allowing me to express myself in so many different ways. Oh, and I guess I should mention work. At least it lets me make money so that I am able to do all these things and travel the world one trip at a time.
