Dominic’s story unfortunately is not an uncommon one. That a beautiful, happy boy who had his entire life ahead of him could be taken by such an ugly disease is unconscionable. But through their unbearable heartache, Trish and Sean decided to honour their son through Extra Life. Extra Life is a community of video gamers who raise money in support of Children’s Hospitals across the US and Canada. And that community rallied behind the Rooneys, raising over $46,000 this past year. The family is an absolute inspiration to us. And when I give a thumbs up to anyone from now on, I’ll be thinking of Dominic.
