Inspiration Monday: A Nerd’s Menagerie

We like to showcase unique here at NC! That which seems strange is most often just different. That which is different, can still very well be lovely! We’ve got many fabulous things we want to showcase today, from photography to fashion, but all unique.

Via BoredPanda,we came across Shamekh Bluwi, an architect and fashion designer  based in Jordan who creates cut paper templates of dresses and photographs them against environmental imagery to create beautiful designs! See more here, and check a few images out below.

We’ve showcased a few double exposure portraits in the past, these are phenomenal! Via FaunaEscapes, a husband and wife duo from Denmark. See more on their site here and side note… Follow them on Instagram!

Straight out of our imaginations via Colossal come photographer Joseph Michael’s long exposure photographs of a New Zealand cave illuminated by glow worms! See more here.

Lastly, also via Colossal (love colossal) we layered resin dioramas. I love this layered art, the added depth is amazing! These fantastical creature portraits are by Drew Mosley. See more here.

To learn more about this resin layer style of art watch this video of Japanese artist Riusuke Fukahori.

Enjoy nerds!
