Gamer Girl Musings: Mobile Games

Greetings, Gamer Nerds! Today I would like to talk to you about some of the best games for mobile devices. Some of these have been out for a while, while others are fairly new. Some of these have also been developed to play on PC and Consoles. Come, let’s explore!

Marvel Avengers Academy

Imagine a world in which all your favorite Marvel characters attend high school together! Enroll at Marvel Avengers Academy and teach young heroes how to develop their unique abilities and triumph over evil.

Angry Birds Star Wars

This is what you get when you cross the already popular game Angry Brids with the ever beloved Star Wars franchise. Play as the Rebel Birds and blast away at Pig Troopers, journey to the depths of the Pig Star, and face off against Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the pigs. Restore freedom to the galaxy, one pig at a time!

Agar.io

In this multiplayer game you control your cell and eat other players to grow. The goal is to become the biggest cell of them all!

Block Fortress

This game is basically Minecraft meets Tower Defense. Build your fortress and defend it to the end! Create a stronghold in a multitude of ways. Then you are placed in the middle of the action trying to defend your fortress from the attacks of the Goblocks.

The Walking Dead: Road to Survival

Based on the Robert Kirkman comic, this is a role playing adventure survival game. Recruit survivors and lead your team through various survival scenarios.

The Room

Though this game has been out for a while, it is still quite captivating. This is described as a physical puzzler, wrapped in a mystery game, inside a beautifully tactile 3D world. Hmm…intrigiuing!

League of Evil

Another oldie but goodie. There are over 160 levels in which you play as a super-agent, with old school pixel art and chiptunes.

Organ Trail: Director’s Cut

Remember the Oregon Trail from grade school? Well this is nothing like that. It has a purposely similar art style. This is a retro zombie survival game in which you travel West in a station wagon with your friends, trying to find supplies and fending off the undead.

Trivia Crack

Basically it’s like Trivial Pursuit you can play on mobile devices…and it’s apparently quite addicting.

Where’s my Water?

In this addicting Disney puzzle game, you have to figure out how to help Swampy get his water back so he can take a shower! Apparently it’s very important!

Scribblenauts Unlimited

This game is….crack! Seriously of all the Scribblenauts games, this one was the best! You have a magic notebook which you can use to draw pretty much anything to life that you can use to solve puzzles and finish quests on a mission to save your sister!

Well there you have it, gamer nerds. These are some of the best (and most addictive) games you can play on mobile devices! Let me know what you think of this list and if there are any you love to play as well.

Stay Nerdy, my friends!
